Belt of my dreams

I’ve had it for about 50km so far. Really love it! The bottle is great, build quality feels fantastic and I’m loving the lack of bounce. Usually I’d wear a large but went for a medium after chatting with someone with the same measurements who suggested sizing down. There’s an adjustable strap to give it just a bit of slack and getting it over the hips initially was tough, but once it’s on it’s a real treat. Had it with 4 gels, Clif bloks, an inhaler, the 650ml flask, a 250ml flask, and a light windbreaker for a 25km mountain race the other day. A lot of mud and sliding on rocks. Loved having it instead of a vest! Definitely a safe bet 🤝

Getting a running belt that can hold a phone, gel, or bar doesn’t seem like much of a problem to me. On the other hand, finding one where a full 500ml soft flask doesn’t bounce around your entire lower back felt like an impossible mission… But Raide is the first belt I’ve tried that not only handled 600ml in the back but also allowed for a comfortable run with a 250ml flask in the front. So you’ve got 850ml of fluids in a waist pack. Like, whaaat?

It’s not just a piece of fabric like I was used to before. Raide has a well-thought-out design—reinforced and anatomically shaped in the back. The belt fits snugly around your waist and stays put like it’s glued on.

150€ might seem like a lot for a running belt at first glance, but in terms of functionality and durability, it’s in a completely different league than any other waist pack on the market…

I’m very pleased with this belt. It has a snug fit, great capacity, and a well-thought-out design with no bounce. Looking forward to using it extensively in the upcoming season for longer runs.

As a trail runner, this piece really caught my attention. It’s something different and competitive on the market for several reasons. The material is sturdy and durable, yet it doesn’t add unnecessary weight. It fits perfectly, stays in place during activities, and adheres where it should without being intrusive – no chafing! I appreciate the option to adjust the size from the inside in a very sophisticated way. I also highlight the neutral color and minimalistic design, which is another advantage and a key factor when making a decision. The logically arranged compartments each serve their purpose, while the adjustable pole attachments are yet another benefit. A very pleasant surprise, and I consider this piece a must-have in my trail-running gear. I recommend this belt to users who are demanding in terms of gear, comfort, and aesthetics, as well as those who make their choice based on shape, material, or functionality.
